NSVs

I went three days in a row eating withing my calorie range. In those three days, I went to the gym once and worked out at my apartment once. 

Yesterday, I was craving fried shrimp. But, I didn’t go to Long John Silver’s because I know I’ll get friend shrimp next Friday. As the night wore on, I was craving pizza. I went so far as to go to the Domino’s website. If you bought two pizzas, you got parmesan bites for $1. The more I thought about it, I realized that I didn’t want to eat pizza all weekend. And I didn’t really want to spend $20 on food. So I made two tortilla pizzas and that was that.

This morning, I thought about just skipping the gym. And getting McDonald’s for breakfast. I eventually talked myself out of the McDonalds. And dragged myself out of bed to go to the gym.

Weigh-in Wednesday

Two weeks ago: 188.6

This week: 193.2

Obviously, I’m still half-assing my health.

I spent a long birthday weekend at home, and have realized that I’m just pissed at myself. It’s one thing for me to notice that I put all the weight back on, but it’s another thing when I have proof that everyone else knows.

One of my Lenten resolutions is to get back to eating healthy.

Restarting: Week 1 Review

Wednesday, the first day of the week was good. 

On Thursday, I ate nachos for dinner. And the rest of the week was a downward spiral. I had friends visit over the weekend, so we ate like it was a Superbowl Party all weekend. I had soda once, pizza twice, and Subway once. Then I ate leftovers Monday and Tuesday. I went to the gym on Wednesday.

On a positive note, I think I’ve eaten all of the party food. And my grocery budget is almost used up, so there’s mostly healthy food at my apartment right now.

Weigh-in Wednesday

This is my first WIW in a long time. It’s the first WIW since I changed my blog name. Here goes:

1/18/2012: 184.4

Today: 186.8

That’s a 2.4lb gain which shouldn’t surprised me. That’s what happens when you eat everything you want and don’t exercise at all.

Here’s to a better number next week!

February Goals

  • No fast food
  • Eat pizza once this month
  • Go to the gym 4 days a week
  • Eat within my calorie limit at least 20 days this month
  • WIW, every Wednesday
  • No soda

February is by far my favorite month of the year because it’s my birth-month! On my birthday, I am allowed to eat and drink whatever I want. But I need to stop with the fast food, I don’t want to admit how many times I went to McDonald’s in January. And when presented with pizza, I won’t stop until there’s none left. I need to get back into going to the gym.
